Party Game Ideas

Musical Chairs:
Set up chairs in a circle, play music, and have the kids walk around the chairs. When the music stops, they must quickly find a chair to sit in. Remove one chair after each round.

Treasure Hunt:
Create a treasure map or a series of clues leading to hidden treasures around the party area. Kids can work together or compete to find the treasure.

Pin the Tail on the Donkey:
A classic game where kids are blindfolded and attempt to pin a tail onto a picture of a donkey. You can customize it with different themes. Change it up for Unicorn lovers with Pin the HORN on the Unicorn!

Balloon Pop:
Write different tasks or challenges on pieces of paper and place them inside balloons before inflating. Kids must pop a balloon and complete the task inside.

Bean Bag Toss:
Set up targets with different point values and have kids toss bean bags to score points.

Obstacle Course:
Create a mini obstacle course with tunnels, cones, and other obstacles for kids to navigate.

Duck Duck Goose:
Kids sit in a circle, and one child walks around tapping others on the head, saying "duck, duck, goose." When they say "goose," the tapped child must get up and chase them around the circle.

Sack Race:
Provide burlap sacks or large pillowcases and have kids hop to the finish line in a classic sack race.

Puzzle Station:
Set up tables with age-appropriate puzzles for the kids to complete individually or in teams.

Egg and Spoon Race:
Provide spoons and hard-boiled eggs. Kids must balance the egg on the spoon while racing to the finish line.

Bingo:
Create bingo cards with pictures or words related to the party theme. Call out items, and the first to get a line shouts "Bingo!"

Cupcake Decorating:
Bake plain cupcakes and provide various frostings, sprinkles, and toppings for the kids to decorate their own cupcakes.

Limbo:
Play tropical music and have kids take turns leaning backward to go under a limbo stick. Lower the stick after each round.

Craft Corner:
Set up a crafting station with supplies for kids to create their own party hats, masks, or other crafts.

Bubble Station:
Provide bubble wands and a bubble solution for the kids to enjoy creating bubbles.

Water Balloon Toss:
On a hot day, have a water balloon toss where kids pair up and toss water balloons back and forth, taking a step back after each successful toss.

Ring Toss:
Set up a ring toss game with rings and targets of varying point values.

Dress-up Relay:
Have a variety of dress-up items (hats, scarves, etc.) at one end of the playing area. Kids race to put on the items, then race back to tag the next teammate.

Photo Booth:
Set up a photo booth with fun props and backdrops. Kids can take silly pictures to remember the party.

Lego Table:
Set up an area full of lego. Have a competition to see who can build the coolest car or house! Or just let their imaginations go wild and have fun.

Sled Races:
If you are having a winter Birthday Party, consider getting the kiddos dress up warm and have some fun sledding! Offer hot chocolate and hand warmers to keep guests warm.
